That’s so beautiful Mandy. Me too!!! After my wife died I worked to heal and prayed for God to put my heart back together, so if I found someone to love again, I would have my whole heart to give them. They didn’t = ))) deserve someone with just a bandaid over some huge gaping wound. I prayed about what kind of person she would be and the love we would share, but mostly prayed for Him to mold me into the man worthy of that kind of woman’s love. Then one day I was writing out a book in the bible at work and some woman walked up behind me and started asking questions and then telling me all about her experience with that book and then bebopped out of the room before I could reply. I finished the chapter and then journaled as I usually did. But what came out of me was, “how long must I wait for someone who wants to know ALL of me and is willing to show me all of them?? Why can’t I have someone to love the way You have taught me, Lord??” I found her the next day and started talking to her and then married her 100 days later. More than four years later, we tell each other how we’re the other one’s favorite, and more tender than telling each other we love one another, we tell each other, “I really like you!!”
That was so sweet and beautiful
This is so lovely. God gives the best gifts.
Beautiful slice of life.
Awesome. Charming anecdote and crazy how praying into the unknown unfolds. Thanks for sharing it

Thank you for sharing, Mandy!
Stunning! 😍
When you know, you know! I love hearing stories when people don't play games with each other and trust their love <3
My husband was an answered prayer I didn't expect as well <3
